Sandy L. C. Bezanson is a lifelong fan of historical romances. She has lived in several places in Europe where her “old soul” thrived on art, architecture, and antiques. When not writing, she loves to have a camera, paintbrush or cooking utensil in her hand. Long walks and talks with friends are best finished with a cup of tea . . . or a glass of wine. She always treasures visits from her busy son. Sandy lives with her husband, and loves their view of the foothills of the Rocky Mountains.
Sandy’s Story
From a young age, Sandy has been an ardent Anglophile, utterly captivated by the refined world of a bygone era. While other children played games, she was busy poring over antique books and handling cameo brooches with a reverence typically reserved for holy relics. This spark of obsession was fanned by weekend wanderings to flea markets with her father, where the simple joy of hunting for vintage treasures amongst heirlooms ingrained her fascination.
Over the years Sandy pursued her passion for discovering nuances about the period in order to emulate the cadence and cultured tones of the Regency aristocracy.
It is this unwavering commitment to historical authenticity that sets Sandy’s romantic tales apart. With her pen as a figurative trowel, she meticulously excavates all the telling details and nuances until they gleam vividly for the reader. There are no muddled re-imaginings here, but rather a full-blooded renaissance of Regency society's sophisticated grandeur.
